Commenting on tho suggestion of the Parisian paper "L'HommH Libre" - at an oxchango should be eltected of the New Hebrides for Mauritius, the "Daily Telegraph" says:—"This would givo France a handsome bargain. Tho Commonwealth would welcome British ownership of tho entiro group, but would scarcely expect tho Imperial Government to buy the French out at the prico which Mauritius represents."
