CANTERBURY PARK T.C.'S WINTER MEETING-.

Tho weather was dull and cold for th© opening of' tho Canterbury Park Trotting Club's Winter Meeting yesterday, and just after tho first raco c fieroo southerly -wind sprang up, bringing with it heavy showers of rain and hail, and generally making the afternoon one of the meet unpleasant that has been experienced on tho iclub's course for a. very long time.
