TO-DAY'S SEVEX-A-SIDE TOtTRXAiIENT. The annual seven-a-sidc tournament, nnder tho auspices of the Canterbury Rugby Union, will be held at Lancaster Pa'-k to-day. Match<?B start at 10 a.m. and the three grounds will be occupied all day, the total entries, bein s 49 teauif, compr.eirg several exuntry clubs. , The morrun? will be taken up with the junior grade games and r-fter the luncheon interval', and till 2 p.m., tho senior matches and semi-finals of the other grades will ba ct-cided. At 2 p.m. a half-mile relay race, open *o competing teams, will bo got off, each team consisting of four men, and a football must b=) handed from ok- to another member of each k-am ir. tVv" race. Messrs Pann«ll *nd Co. have offered a prize of a pair of football boote, to be awarded in connexion with the tournament at tho discretion of the committee.
