MeKINNON ARRESTED IN EUROPE.

Private advices received in Christchurch state that John Alexander AleKinnon, who has been wanted in connexion with the recent Customs frauds, has been arrested at Homo. '

It is understood that iucKinnou was studying for his medical degree, and Would in aU probability have secured it in a few months' time. To study for this degree McKinnon went lo JDublin a few years back. His wife, it is understood, returned to Christchureh from Home about a month ago. Rumour had it some little time back that McKinnon had left Ireland and gone to Spain.
