(Received June 2nd, 9.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, June 2. Nino Maitland collieries, where the men have refused to Work 'the afternoon shift, closed to-day. About four thousand are idle. Both sides are determined, but reticent. Tho men expect to obtain the support of tho Australian Unions' federation. They declare that if it is forthcoming, they can win. . ■■• There is no present indication of. the strike spreading to other districts. BUILDING TRADE DISPUTE.
