PASSENGER AND FREIGHT RATES INCREASED. (By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright.) SYDNEY, Juuo 2. Tho increased passage and freight rates between inter-State ports came into forco yesterday. Tho increases amount to ls 6d per* ton on general cargo, and approximately 10 per cent, on faros. Tho increase in freight- charges' docs not apply to live stock.
