WARGRAYE CHURCH BURNED DOWN. A MILITANT "SPANKED.*' (Ey Cable.—Ertss Associ-t'on.—Copyright.) LONDON, June 1. Wargravo Church, near Henley, which was built in 1535, has been burned down. A number of suffragette cards were found, inscribed as folio-**-.--: —"A Reply to tho Government."' "A Reply to Torturers." A riverside mansion, near Windsor, was also set on firo, but tho tlamos were extinguished. On the occasion of Sir Edward Carsoivs arrival at Belfast, a numb or of mill girls mobbed several suffragettes. i'hey stripped ono of thorn of nearly all her clothing and ".spanked" her with her own shoes. Tho mili {"-iris also stoned tho policemen who came to her rescue.
