Representatives, reiat.ng to Local Bills, the Chrietchnrch City Council hereby gives notice that application will be made to the General Assembly of New Zealand, in Parliament assembled, at its present eeesioii,'"for leave to introduce a Bill intituled "The Christchureh Milk Supply and Markets Act, 1914." The object of the proposed Bill >s to t-n----ab'o tbe Christchureh City Council: — (1) To control and regulate the milk enpply of (he City. (2) To undertake the sale and di-tribufion of milk to tbe exclusion of all otb-r suppliers of mil!:, and to curry on '.be busiicaa ot dealing in milk and milk produ.ts. (3) To control sales of fi«h in any market erected or provided by the City. Tlie foregoing objects are to be attained by providing: — 1.
