programme presented at the Sydenham Theatre last night drew a large and interested audience. The star picture was a thrilling and exciting'drama, entitled "The Forest Dwellers. It told the story of a great legacy aiid an unequal fight for it "The Pathe Gazette" (topical), "In Dauphiny." (scenic). "The Roman Campagna" (coloured scenic), "The* Canine Hero," '"The Ring" (drama), "The Schemers" (comedy), and "Taming Terrible Ted" (comedy), were good supports. The projjramme will bo shown to-ntght, and also at the special holiday matinee to-morrow..
The crowing popularity of roller skating was strikingly exemplified yesterday by the large attendances of patrons who thronged tho Olympia Rink at all sessions. To-day the rink will be open at the usual hours. On Monday night next the.first fancy dress and poster carnival will be held.
