BENCH AND BAR TRIBUTE. 'P&SSS ASSOCIATION* TKLF.GRAM.. AUCKLAND, June 1. In the Supreme Court this. morning reference was made to the late Air W. R. Bloomfield oy Bench and Bar. Mr Justice Cooper said that Mr Bloomfield was a very old friend of his. He had earned tho respect and affection of all with whom he came in contact. Mr Bloomfield had the affection, goodwill, and respect of all classes of the comnmnity. He had taken his share in public work, and proved himself an experienced, useful, and leading officer in the Territorial Forces.
