TEMUKA.
William Taipana, a Maori, was remanded until June 4th, on a charge of obtaining £1 13s from the Temuka Post Office by means of false pretences. "Jimmy" Rees, a young man, was charged with stealing -.5 worth of clothing at InvercargiU. He was remanded to Invercargnl.
