COMPETITION GAMES.
The various games in connexion with tho competitions were advanced a stage on Saturday afternoon. under conditions that left little to cavil at. In tho senior games, Sydenham A carried too many guns for To Whaka, and the second Sydenham selection Found tho speedy Selwyn just one too many for them. Addington defatted tho rowing mon, and Oxford Terraco went down before the forces of the East Belt team.
SYDENHAM A (o) v. TE WHAKA (0). Sydenham quickly had tho Port men penned up and, shortly after tho initial ••buiiy," and .simultaneous with tne scoroin the game Selwyn v. Sydenham B, played on the adjoining area, Hawkins got ono through. Before the spell onded Sydenham registered another goal through tho agency ot Throp.. In tho second spell Sydenham scored three more goals, Patrick, Holland, and Hulbcrt being the scorers. Mr S. Hinc_sman ret creed.
