To-day at Wasadyko Messrs Dalgefy and Company held a ea!c of racehorses and hacks on. account of Mr W. H. Palmer. Tie steeplechaser Tho Breirer elicited keen competition, and was secured by Mr James Saiit'n, of Dunedin, at 0-55 guinea*. The well-known' horse John Bunyan, a winner at the recent Timaru race meeting, was cold to Mi P. A. Ehvorthy lor 95 truineo.s. The bay horse Martel was passed in at 100 guineas. The-highest pric« for bacts and hunters wos 33 £uii.oaj.
