SUMMARY AND FORECAST.
Mr D. C. Bates, Government Meteorologist, supplied the following weather summary and forecast at 5 p.m. yesterday: — Anti-cyclonic conditions liavo prevailed, with fair to cloudy weather, and the winds have been moderate and variable.
Present indications ero for moderate easterly breezes, northward of New Plymouth, and Napier, tand moderate, to strong norihexlka elsewhere; weather fair to cloudy, with, increasing hazo and cloudiness. Tho barometer ha 3 a falling tendency.
