In the meantime an intermediate bonus would be paid on aii policies maturing during tho triennial period. The Society's reserve fund stood at over £3,d(A»,U>i), and the annual income ' was £7251000. This provod its spiendid position. It was securing its full share of tho overexpanding life insurance of the Empire.
