M Luko, representatives of the Architects'' Institute, an<l tho Municipal Electors' Association, accompanied by Mr Chas. 0. Read©, organiser of the Australian Town-planning tour, waited on tho Hon. F. H, l>. Bell (Minister of Internal Affaire) to-day, and asked for financial assistance from tho Government towards the cost of the proposed free public lantern-lectures on Town-planning in New Zealand during July, by Mr W. R. Davidge, F.5.1.A.", M.1.C.E., A.R.IJfcA. (London County Council), and Mr Reado. These lectures will deal with all tho latest aspects of the subject in Englaud, Europe,'and America, ; and will bo illustrated by over 1000 \ lantern slides provided for the tour by j tho Garden Cities and • Town-planning { Association or Great Britain.
