EGG AND POULTRY MARKET.
There was a fair entry in the poultry market yesterday, and a good demand. Table chickens realised os Cd to 7s 9d, hens 2s to 4s od, pullets 3s 3d to 7s 6d! The egg market is being better supplied, and prices have a falling tendency. Canterbury Egg Circles first grades sold at 2s 2d to 2s 3d, seconds Is 10d to 2s. By the mail this week the Egg Circle received enquiries from Vancouver, Portland, and San 'Francisco for shipments to be sent during tho coming spring. A representatJra from Portland, Oregon, states there 's an excellent opening in that city for New Zealand eggs.
