Senator'Millon, Federal Minister of itefence, etates that the CommOmvoalth. Government readily adopted the Imperidl authorities' suggestion to permit Imperial warships on the New Zealand station to participate in annual battle practice trith the Australian Navy towards the end of, the year.
Sanator Millen added that the Australian Saxy was essentially an Imperial fleet, ready to co-operato with, other Iroiierial forces, both in peaco and war. • :.. ' '
Although the ! Cabinet has not . yet considered the New Zealand Government's request that the Australian warships should visit tho Dominion,' Senator Millen anticipates that the Ministry will ondonse tho proposal. .
