OPERA HOUSE.
Thero was a large audience at the Opera House last night, and the vaudeville programme was greatly enjoyed. Dennis Carney, the popular oomedian, was accorded an enthusiastic reception in his comedy sketch, "The Wigmakers," snpported by the BrennanFuller Stock Company; Carlton Max, the popular ventriloquist; Dorothy Harris, the American comedienne; Herr Ernst Franz, in lib monologues at the piano, and other members of tho company were also successful in their items.
To-night the programme will be repeated, and on Saturday a. special matinee will bo given. The two Tango Competitions will take place on Tuesday and Thursday, June 2nd find 4th, and box plans will bo open at Milner and Thompson's to-morrow, at 9 &.m.
