A NEW ERA IN CURING.

?EEDZE VIBRATION THE MODERN WAY.

Ons of the most distinguished doctors. in She world has given the following tneoiy vs to the explanation of how the pain ia Rheumatism and Gout i» actually caused:— He says: "When the blood starts from the heart along the arteries, its normal condition should be pure; but in a rheumatic patient it carries along, suspended in it, microscopically small, hard crystals of uric acid. These 6ail along the large arteries all right, but at last the diminishing arteries have dwindled down into tbe smallest capil. laries (finer than hair). When the floating crystals reach the entrance to these capillaries they aro too large to get through, and so are pressed forcibly against the surrounding nerves, and the irritation caused by congestion and pressure is tho actual.pain of Rheumatism. Some way or other those crystals havo to ba forced or helped to pass through those capillares on into the veins. It is from the above to understand how nibbing or hand maaeage helps them through and so relieves tho pain. Theso crystals then float along the veins to the lungs, there to take their chance of being oxidised by tho air, and so breathed out, and otherwise worked out of the system. In a patient suffering from an excess of uric acid, however, the lungs cannot entirely clear out those crystals, but only reduce their size, and so let them go on their round again, with the fresh ones that are always forming." Now the above was put out before the Veedee was invented; but incidentally it furnishes the most startling testimony of the value of the Veedee, and at the same time really shows how is it that the Veedee is the quickest pain reliever and curer of Rheumatism and Gout yet discovered. There is no possible comparison between tho effect of a little rubbing or hand massage on the above-described uric aciddogged capillaries (with their surrounding accompaniment of muscle-twisting and nerve-racking pain) and the thrilling stream of vibration (8000 per minute, if desired) that the Veedee sends right through, and through tho congested area. The effect is, of course, immediate. The vibration helps the uric acid to pass on through the capillaries, and so brings tho blessed relief from pain in two or three minutes. If it did. no more than thus relievo, probably every sufferer from Rheumatism and Gout would feel ho had to have one, even if he had to sell his coat to get it; but the action of tho Veedee goes further, and helps the cure. The effect of the vibration on those urio acid crystals is not only to pass them through the capillaries on into the veins and so relieve the pain by removing the congestion, but it actually breaks up these crystals, so that they reach the veins in a condition that greatly increases tbe chance of. the lungs of getting them out of tho body altogether. That is how it is that the effect of just ' one application of the Veedee over the seat of pain in Rheumatism and Gout is the instant thrilling out of those pains, and that the regular and ays-, j tematic use of the Veedee almost invarably effects a cure of Rheumatism and 'Gout. Another class of sufferers who have much to thank the Veedee for are the Deaf. Perhaps of all forms of deafness, that which fa accompanied with Vertigo, Head Noises, and Dizziness is the most terrible and pathetic. Not only is the sufferer denied the pleasures of company, but because .of the fear that an attack of Vertigo might sense them whilst out and about they are forced to. endure a life of semi-retirement and loneliness.' -Their lot is, indeed, one of many hardships,* and it requires much fortitude and pluck to endure, especially in: view of the fact that many eminent otologists deem the complaint incurable. However, hope should not be abandoned, oven in the seeming incurable cases. The record of tbe Veedee shows that if it cannot in every case effect a radical cure, it can at'least .bring about considerable alleviation oi the more distressing symptoms. To persons who are subject to sudden attacks of pain, neuralgia, for instance, the, Veedee has proved of inestimable ' value. ->, As soon as the pain is felt, it -can at once be relieved, usually in the course few minutes; the vibration, applied to-the periphery, will have influenced the* centre, which is the seat of the distressing sensation, and the pain completely disappears. As soon as this result has been attained, the application is stopped. Should relief be delayed, however, it is always possible, without any inconvenience, to increase the vibrations, and however employed, , the Veedee will never cause muscular fatigue or diminution of nervous energy. Indeed, on the contrary, its action, by accelerating the general nu- , trition makes it one of the best tonics "we are acquainted with. - This brings us to the'fact that Veedee vibration is not of ;tis9 to the Bick 0n1y.,. One of its most:-remarkable .properties is its great -usefulness as a general nerve . tonic. For the worried business man, or the woman fatigued by household or other cares, no amount of pills or mixtures can equal the Veedee. Its soothing action gently drives the tiredness away, and this without-the damaging after-effects so often found with the use of drugs. The field, however, in which the .Veedee has done, and is doing, the most good is in the case of all such troubles as Rheumatism, Gout, Lumbago, Sciatica, Neuralgia, Neurasthenia. Constipation, Deafness, and a host of other painful complaints. Veedee vibration is curing these, and will keep on curing them so long a's there is an ache' or pain left in the world. Some of the results obtained appear to be nothing short of miraculous, and the testimony of thousands of grateful patients who hare had tbeir pains driven away by th© wonder-work-ing little machine is the most convincing proof of all. An infallible index to the value of any method of treatment is the attitude of the medical profession toward it; if they prescrib* xt, .if they use it in their practice, w« can then safely assume that it poggesse* more than ordinary merit. Now, as r© cr,rds the opinion of the medical pro fession concerning the Veedee. In England alone thousands of doctors m using and prescribing it. The same applies to almost all the Continental countries, and more especially in Ger> > many, whose doctors and scientists ar« famed all tho world over for their up to-dato methods. We find, too, thai medical users of the Veedee are not only found in tho ranks of the bard- . working; country and suburban practitioners, but by those foremost in the profession, including a Physican in Ordinary to bis late Majesty King Edward the Seventh, the Physican to H.M. tho Queen Mother of Holland, and the Physican in Ordinary to H.I.M. the Kaiser. It is safe to conclude that when such distinguished scientists as those quoted above use the Veedee that it must be the most effective way of obtaining tho results which they desire. In short, it may be said that the introduction of the Veedee for the application of Curative Vibration in one of the. greatest steps that bas been taken m modem times against human suffering.. Unfortunately, there are ".till thousands of unfortunate sufferer* in this world, many of them enduring useless agonies, through beinc ignorant of the existence of the wonderful Veedee. which can drive away their pains. It is with the object of reaching all such that the Veedeo Specialists have given and are giving Publio Demonstrations rin the various o'ties aH over theworld. The Veedee "Specialists will be in Christehnreh on Saturday, June 6, and will give, a demonstration at the King's Theatre to which all are invited to come. No charrje is made for admission, and on collection is taken, as it is the desire of the Veedee Specialists that all sufferers, no matter how poor, shall be able to attend and see for themselves what this wonderful Health Invention can do. 9
