A quantity of oats has been shipped by the Westmeath for West of England ports, and it is hoped that further shipments in this direction will relievo the market. There is very little grain offering by growers. " .

The potato market is also very dull, and the price is inclined to be weaker, as'it is said that sales have been made as low as £2 15s, but £3 at country stations is the nominal value, with few buyers.

The undermentioned are the prices paid to farmers at country, stations, free of commission, sacks extra, excepting, where otherwise stated: —

Wheat—Tuscan, 3s 7d to as 8d; Hunter's, 3s 8d to 3s'9d: Pearl, 3s 9d-to.3s lOd; fowl wheat, 3s 4d .to 3s 6d. Oats-r-Algerian, Is 7d to Is 8d; Danish; ls-6d; Duns, Is 7d to Is 8d; Gartons, Is 6d to Is Bd.

Barley—Prime malting (nominal); medium and inferior, 2s'6d to 3s. Ryegrass—2s'6d to 25,.9 d for -best samples.

Cocksfoot—-Bright and heavy samples, np:to"4id; average, 3d to 3Jd. White Clover—9d to lOd.

Red Clover—7d to' 7_d. Flour—£lo per ton ;l6olb bags, £10 10s; 501b bags, £10 15s; 251b bags, £11. " Bran—£4 5s per ton, local. ' per tori. # Oatmeal—£l2 per ton. ' .
