THE PRIME MINISTER AT TIMARU.
The Prime Minister and the Hon. James Allen were given a cordial welcome at Timafu yesterday as they passed through on their way south, being met at the railway station by a representative gathering of the Reform Party. Mr ■ 31assey. in reply to a request, promised to spend a night in Tiniaru on his return north, which ho expected would be about to-morrow week.
