LONDON. May £5. The membership' of tho Overseas Club now numbers 120,000.
Tho Lord Mayor opened the new London head-uarters of tho club with a luncheon at the Waldorf Hotel.
Lord Stanhope. Lord Meath. and the Agents-General wero present. Lord Northcliffe, president and founder of the club, read'telegrams of congratulation from tho Duke of Connaught, Mr Alfred Deakin, the Lord Mayor of Melbourne, the Governors of New Zealand, Tasmania, and West Australia, and from branches of the el-ib in New South Wales, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Woollcngonr, and also in remote places like the Falkland Isles. Lord Selborno proposed, and Lord Buxton seconded, the toast of "Tho Dominions," to which Sir George Rckl and tho Hon. T. Mackenzie responded.
