The opening mooting of the Hornbv Progressive Euchre Club was held on Thursday, but , owing to the inelemonev of tho weather the attendance was net large. The ladies' first nriso was won by Mrs Macfarlane. ard the gentlemen's prize by Mr S. Bell. The"booby" prises were won by Miss TYoeks and Mr Pool.
