TRADE WITH BRISTOL.
(PRESS ASSOCIATION' TELECKAM ) WELLINGTON, May 25. Mr H. G. Hill, general manager of the Bristol and dominions Producers' Association, has received a letter from tJie head office of the Association at Bristol, which contains information that will be of interest to producers generally throughout New Zealand. XJ» claims for damages on account of faulty handling have constituted a very serious charge upon the frozen meat industry, and in this conuexion the Kajpara, which left here in January last, carried 2809 carcases of lamb, which arrived in Bristol without damage being done to a. single parcase. This result is regarded as particularly gratifying in view- of the fact thaPtli© cargo mentioned was shipped at Gisborne, where it had to be lightered to the steamer in tho bay.
