SPORTS CLUB CARNIVAL.
.The Christchuich Sports Club have arranged a very attractive programme for next Tuesday evening. It will consist of three special boxing contests—two amateur and one professional. The amateur bouts are six-round contests, between "VV Ireland v. N. Vernall, and J. Digby v. "W." Curian. The proicsnonaj contest is between "Barney , Ireland, of Waipawa, v. "Gtis" Devitt, of Auckland, for a puree of £50. Both these men are in the first rank of p-ofcssjonal boxers, and both are acknowledgc-d experts with the gloves. The curnival will be held in the King's Theatre.
