STUDENTS' PROCESSION.
LEAVE GRANTED. The Canterbury College Procession will parade the city on Juno 19th. Leave has been given by the Mayor to the Students' Association.
Tin's information was laid before the City Council by tho Mayor last night.
Cr. McCombs said he hoped the students wouid not bo prosecuted after permission was given, as they were last year. The police should take a reasonable view of the mattei.
The Mayor «iid that particular treatment by the poiico could not be guaranteed to anybody. Cr. Otley said be thought the police would aiicnv the students some latitude on that day.
