REBELS MAKE DEMANDS.
GOVERNMENT ARTILLERY DEFICIENT. (Received May 25th. 11.5 p.m.) HOME, May 25. Tho Italian Minister at Durazzo says that tho insurgents, as a result of a parley, sent a white flag with a Dutch captain, and requested tho King to receive delegates, who would submit demands, including tho liberation of insurgent prisoners, and threatened to shoot nil prisoners unless tho reply was satisfactory. Tho King signed a saleconduct.
Although tho insurrection is mainly religious in character, many of JTCssad Pasha's supporters aro participating in it.
Tho "Giornalo d'ltalia" states that, owing to the inadequacy of their range, tho guns directed against tho insurgents struck down Nationalist volunteers gendarmerie.
