INSURGENTS BESIEGE CAPITAL.
KING SEEKS SAFETY.
(By Cable.—Pr« S s Association.—Copyright.) DURAZZO, May 24. The insurgents aro attacking tho city. The King and his Consort and suite boarded the Italian warship Misurata. Tho Malissori refused -to march against the insurgents, allceing that their duty was to. protect tho King. Tho gendarmerie, under Dutch officers, is marching on Schia-k, under cover of tho guns mounted on the hills around Durar.zo. Heavy firing is in progress in tho direction of fechiak. The foreign residents, at their own request, wore embarked aboard tho Italian warships. Tho naval detachments, excepting the Legation guards, have rejoined their respective vessels. Members, of the International Commission went to parley with tho insurgents, who captured four Dutch officers. Tho Commission returned with the insurgents' representatives, who wish to confer with tho King. Tho latter, accompanied by his staff and tho Italian Admiral, has landed.
