SYDENHAM- (1) v. NOMADS (4).
At Richmond I'ark, the Mayor kicked off, and Nomads soon carried play into their opponents' territory. Tho Sydenham backs wero sorely pressed, and eventually Nomads opened the score through Grant. Taylor increased Nomads' lead, and almost immediately aTter, breaking away ou his own,, he sent iv a shot troiu close quarters, which Tennent put his foot out to save. Taylor following up. came in collision with Tennent's outstretched le-- and unfortunately broke it. At halftime tho scores were: Nomads 3, Sydenham 0. In tho second half Golightlv scored for Sydenham, and from a pass by Webster, the Nomads lead was increased by Woods getting through with a good shot. Final score:— Nomads 4, Sydenham 1.
