The market remains firm at.recent quotations, and, aithougu tne demand for prime lines is steady, buyers will noo give any extreme prices, which are in some cases asked by holders. Prices — s.s. Tuscan, 3s 7d to 3s 8d; Hunters, 3s 8d to 3s t>d; Pearl, 3s lOd; whole fowl wheat, 3s 3d to 3s -id; all on trucks at country stations. Oats —There is an enquiry for primo A Cartons on the basis of Is 8d to Is B,'d on trucks, and at this figure shipment to .England can just about bo worked. The Dominion coastal shipping trade is very -iuiet, and for inferior quality lines the demand is very we.ik. Values—Prime A Gartons, Is od to Is Sid; B Gartons, Is 7d* inferior, Is Cd to Is 6_d; Duns, prime, Is &d to Is 9d; lower quality. Is 6d to Is 7d; Danish, Is -Id to Is od—on trucks country stations.
Chaff —Prime quality meets a fair demand at 45s to 47s 6d, on trucks. Low grade is not in request.
