Our Greendalo corres]jondent wrote yesterday:—The weather has, of late, ;b«on vfiiy wintry, .with rain, sleet; and snow. Farm work of all kinds is quite at a standstill,-and the hroken weather at the .present time is very in-opportune,-as the various, potato-grow-ers are busy during tho fine days, lifting the crop. £ome very good yields are reported, although the crops throughout the district are very even, some yielding up to 17 tons per acre, and others as low as four tons per acre.
