Thft vieo-prei-ident of the Panama Exposition says that s»aco has been over applied for. Tho authorities havo been reserving a fite for Britain's display, but they cannot reserve it indefinitely. Britain's decision has not affected tho financial position in the slightest degree. To bo quite frank, ho remark?, tho astonishment, created throughout tho world by tho British Government's attitude, has given the Exposition an advertisement r.s unequalled as it was unexpected, and tho authorities aro duly grateful.
