(rRESS ASSOCUTIO.S- TELEGRAM.) TIMARU, May 22. Tho first annual meeting of the Timaxu WaWsidors , Union (Arbitration) which was formed after tho strike last year (before tho general strike), was Held last night, andjasted till midnight. The principal rosul'-s were tho election of new officers, somo of them members of tho former uuion which struck, and an order that tho accounts of the late oxecutiv© bo subjected to special audit. Strong objection was taken by some to tho executive having voted £52 to. the secretary. It was resolved that the Wanganui Union be advised that the union does not acknowledge their affiliation, this having been arranged by the Tiniaru Executive, and not by tho union. Tho result i* looked upon as a victory for the old unionists.
