ROSS GOLDFIELDS, LTD.
(PRESS ASSOCIATION TEUGBAM.) WELLINGTON, May 21. The Ross mine superintendent, reporting l on the 14th inst., stated:—"Ordinary work was resumed in the faces underground after s long stoppage, on Monday, 4th inst., with three parties of men, which have since been increased to five parties on each shift. They will be further increased when suitable hands are obtainable. No. 6 level workings—No. 2 East drive, has been driven to 56it from the opening end. and work has been stopped for the present." This party has commenced to drive No. 6 South, which has been driven 12ft in payable wash. One party is blocking in No. 3 South, and one in No. 2 Sooth, both in wash of lower value. There is no change to report in the power station plant and machinery."
