Very cold and wet weather has been experienced hero for tho last week." Wednesday, however, was a fine day, but during the night the wind turned round to tho sou-west and rain nnd sleet fell. Yesterday was bitterly cold, all the ranges and low hills having a coating of snow. So. far no floods havo occurred in this district.-
