CABINET WILL RESIGN
SOCIALISTS REFUSE THEIR VOTES. (By Association.—Copyright.) (Received May 21st, 10.33 p.m.) PARIS, May 21. The •'•"Petit Journal" announces that the Cabinet is resigning without waiting for the assembling of Parliament, owing to 102 Socialists refusing their votes in support of the Budget, demanding a return to the two-year military service system.
The Socialists and Socialist-Radicals are profoundly divided upon the question of electoral reform, which the Socialist Radicals oppose.
The financial crisis is serious, the Treasury being about empty.
