TRIAL OF BUNDLE.

SUPREME COURT HEARING.

The Supreme Court yesterday morning entered upon the trial of James Edward Bundle upon charges involving the theft of money from Messrs Barlow Bros., in connexion with Customs transactions. The charges were: That at Christchurch on April 26th, 1912, he did steal £37 16s, the property of ' Barlow Bros.; that on May 25th. 1912, i ho did steal £59 17s, also the property of Barlow Bros.; that on December 6th, 1912, be did steal the sum of £1/ 10s, the property of Barlow Bros. When charged, accused pleaded not guilty. He was represented by j Air s>. U."l'avmonci, K.C., with him Mr F X Hunt. The Crown was represented by Mr P. S. K. Macassey, of Weii.n_t.ua, with him Mr A. Wright.
