Two thousand fanatical Mussulmans and insurgent peasants captured Siak, near Durazzq. . They demand exemption from military service, ar.d the use of the Albanian tongue in tho schools. They accuse Essad Pasha of breaking his promise. Meanwhile an Italian squadron _ arrived hastily at Durazzo, and Essad Pasha and his wife were arrested and placed aboard tho Austro-Hungarian warship Szigetvar, but it is not known at whose instigation.
