CONVICTIONS IN NEW vSOUTH WALES. (By Cable.—Presa Association.—Copyright.) SYDNEY, Maj 18. The annual report of the Now South Wales Alliance says:—"New South Wales is the most drunken Stato in the Commonwealth. During 1.913 the convictions for drunkenness totalled 25.274, and other couviotions, in which drunkenness formed part of the charge. 418,3, a total of 32.439. In 1912 there were 32,977 convictions, hut in 1913 two thousand pledges were taken when no conviction was recorded."
