TIMARU HOSPITAL.
Ds WANT OF A RESIDENT MEDICAL OFFICER.

TIMARU, May 19
For two months tho South Canterbury Hospital Board have been endeavouring to get a resident medical officer for the Timaru Hospital at a salary of £300 per annum, with, house and free living. Finding it impossible to get a doctor at the salary named, they decided, at a meeting held to-day, to ask Dr A. B. Lindsay, who recently left the charge of the Timaru Hospital in order to go Home, to return at a salary of £300 a year, plus a bonus of £150 at tho end of twelve months. Dr. Lindsay is at present in North Canterbury.
