The following cases were decided in favour of plaintiffs by default for the amounts claimed, with costs :-r-W. r. George v. J. Armstu .o; Thomas Laivsou Hart (Mr Fitch) v". John Michael McCarthy. £63 os od; George E. Rowlands (Mr Fit?h> v. John Little, £4; Walter Coiiiins (Mr Fitcb) v. Charles Sullivan, 13s 2d.
Orders were in John Murray (Mr Middlctorf) v. Frank Joyce, junr., judgment summons for £3 7s 4d, and in C. J. Jackson v. same, £2 3s.
William McGimpsey and John Donaldson wero chargou ttiat on .Uay iind they wero guilty of disorderly behaviour at the Morven railway (station, while drunk. McGimpsey nlea'led guilty, and Donaldson did not appear. Jividoncewas given by Mr Richards, th© Morven stationmaster. McGimpsey was fined 20s and costs, ami Donaldson was fined 10s aud costs.
John Gaffney' did - not nnpear to ansver a charge by tae County Engineer of fnilinp to conin'v •-,•■+u oi'ilor of the Council to cut down trees, and wss fined 40s and costs.
William Mahoney (Tvfr Fitcli) was charged by the- poire with driving a motor-oyrJe round a. corner faster than four miles an hour. Tho ca*G was adjourned t-11 Juno 16th. defendant to pay 20s witnesses' expenses.
