Ono first offender for drunkenness was Jincd os, in default 24 hours' imprisonment. Annie Grant pleaded not guilty to drunkenness, but guilty to a charge of breaking her prohibition order. Sho was fined 10g on each charge. ' \ PROHIBITION BREACHES. Michael luora, for two breaches of his prohibition order, was fined 10s on each charge, in deiaiilt four days' imprisonroent. Thomas Bell wns convicted and discharged for entering licensed premises while prohibited, but wns fined 10s aud costs, in default 4S hours' imprisonment, on a charge of procuring liquor while prohibited. Robert Henry Eclgeworth was fined 10s, in defnuit 48 hours' imprisonment, on a charge of breaking his prohibition order. REMANDED. Harold Jones was remanded to Darfield on a charge that he obtained in that locality by false pretences a sum of £25 from Annio Walsh. MAINTENANCE. _ Arthur Edward Luptnn. and Alfred Edward Lar.oy were each sentenced to throe months' imprisonment, in default of pnymonfc of arrenre'ou their respective maintenance orders.
AfFILIATIOX. Percy Stopford Brooks (Mr Johnston) was adjudged* the father of an iilfgitimate child, and was ordered to pay 7s 6d a weak towards its support, to pay certain expenses, and to find security iv a sum of £100 that he would comply with the terms gf the order.
