Ladies' Singles—Mrs Ford beat Miss Col-'' linen. B-'J, 6-0. Men's Singles—J. O. Anderson beat A. B, Jones, 7-5, ij-6, 6-1, G-3. Men's Doubles—Campbell and Patterson (Victoria) beat Marsh and Say era (New South Wales), 8-6, 4-6, 6-0, 7-5. ASCOT CLUB. ... A meeting of the Ascot (North Brighton) Tennis Club was held last night. Matte:« relating to the affairs of the olub were - discussed, and it was decided to hold.tbe annual meeting shortly. In tbe meantime a, subcommittee were appointed to interview "present and prospective members in order than a large gathering might be secured for the meeting. The membership fee was fixed at 10s per annum subject to confirmation. at the annual meeting The question of improving the courts and of adding to them was also considered, and it was decided *o leave this matter in the hands of the incoming committee.
