(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) WANGANUI, May 18. The weather was hue for training" operations this morning. Cornelian and Beroola did solid wjrk before breakfast, and later Bertrada ran a mile. Firing Line joining in over tho last six furlongs. The pair finished together, Bcrtrada covering the last seven turlongs in lmin 3-2 sec. Gondolier went twice round over the big fonces, jumping well, and Northern and Sportsman did two rounds together over tho fences, both showing up well. Royal Medal went two rounds over tbe hurdles, jumping big and well, and Biro Atu, Spalrish, Wild Lupin, Square Deal, Morihik'j, and several others did three-quarter pace work. Goldsise ran a mile and three furlongs at a strong pace.
