COLLAPSE OF A RESERVOIR.

WANGANUI, May 18. As the result of heavy rains on Friday and Saturday, the concrete retaining wall of. the reservoir at Waverley, bu.lt in connexion with the electric light water scheme, was undermined owing to the overflow and collapsed. \t cost £1600 to construct.
