RACECOURSE BUILDINGS BURNT

Hilda Burkott and Florcnco Monks were committed for. trial ou a charge of setting fire to tho Bath Hotel at Felixstowe The evidence showed that the women were connected with the Yarmouth pier putragc. Violent scenes occurred in Court, the prisoners turning their backs ou the Magistrate. Two wardresses and four policemen wore required to keep them in their seats. Tho grandstand and other buildings at tho racecourse at Castle Bromwich were- destroyed by fire. ' Tho damage amounts to several thousands. Suffragette literature was found in tho vicinity.
