Mr Sydney Grundy, in a letter to the Press,- says: —"The language systematically used upon the contemporary stage is a scandal. Indignation is burning, but it is gagged. One might as well gag a volcauo, for sooner or later even the dramatic critics will be shamed into doing their duty."
