BRACKENFIELD HOUNDS.
A meet of tho Brackonfiek! Hounds waa held on Saturday on tho property of Mr H Luun, Waiau. The weather was very unfavourable, but some good runs took place. Hares were rather too numerous, tho scent in many caecs spoflinfr a good .run. Lunch was provided at Mcss.'s „>orthcote's reaid-' ence, Highfield. After the run home,- afternoon tea was eerved at the residence of Mr H. Lunn. Among thore out were Mr M. Bethell (master) and Mrs Bethel- '
Misses Clifford (3), Meters U. and G. Crampten and Mr L. Macfarlano. In epit-o of tht.weather conditions, those present had a. very enjoyable day, and thanks are due to tbe Messrs .Northcote and Mr and Mrs H. Lunn for refreshments co kindly provided.
