ORGAN. RECITAL.
A moderately large house faced Drl Bradshaw. recital at Hia ■ Majesty*, last night, for which a Cbopin-Guilmant programme liad been prepared. In a spintod manner tho recitanst played trio martial Polonaise in A. by Chopin, followed by four of his Pmudes, equally divided in melancholic aad sentimental strains, beautifully given, except rather obtrusive accompaniment in tho one in G. Thero are others yet.waiting production even superior tor transcription on the organ. The Nocturne in G and the Funeral March do pot call for any uew comment. In Guumant's share of tho programme, ,tto Organ Symphony with orchestra stood out grandly, the Finale a brilliant p<?fornlauce, a splendid work of art m all His music always leaves feeliogs of regret th«t there have not been more fino orv_.ir.aL writers of organ music in our day like him, with his gifts and his skill in the treatment of the instrument by the famous French organist. . ,
